Fox Continues To Fabricate Obama Administration Bullying
On its Fox Nation website, Fox accused the Obama administration of "pressur[ing]" the Ford Motor Co. to pull a television ad promoting the fact that the company didn't take advantage of the auto bailout. Fox Distorts Impact Of Cain's 9-9-9 Plan On Low-Income Taxpayers
Fox News' Steve Doocy and guest Neal Boortz hyped GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain's "9-9-9" tax plan on Fox & Friends, claiming low-income tax payers would "probably still [come] out ahead" under Cain's plan. However, experts have said that lower and middle income families would bear a disproportionately larger tax burden under Cain's plan, while some higher-income earners would see their taxes decrease. Conservative Media Join Inhofe's Anti-EPA Fishing Expedition
Following the lead of Sen. James Inhofe, conservative media are distorting an Inspector General's report in an attempt to discredit EPA's finding that greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare. But the IG report addresses obscure procedural issues, not the merits of EPA's finding or the science on which it was based, which even the Bush administration said was robust enough to require an endangerment finding.
