McCain doesn’t want Obama to “politicize” job losses in Ohio

John McCain Gaffes 2008

In the “not to be believed” category, John McCain shoots and scores yet again.

After the 2-3 week barrage of attack ads against Obama, McCain wants to cry spilled milk over an Obama radio ad where he outlines how McCain and Davis - McCain’s campaign manager - were part of a merger deal with DHL that is likely to include the loss of approximately 8000 jobs in Wilmington, Ohio.

The piece de resistance (no accents, my keyboard doesn’t go there) in this Mccain fiasco was a concerned citizen, Mary Houghtaling, in the Wilmington DHL hub are whose husband apparently flies for them and is worried about her husband’s job, joined a McCain press availability conference call on Friday to explain to the conference call attendees that it was OBAMA she was mad at, because Obama was “politicizing” her pain and the problems in Wilmington.

I’m not making this stuff up, this is too outlandish to be made up. This woman was on the call NOT upset at the person involved in allowing the merger to proceed (MCCAIN) nor was she mad at the McCain campaign manager (Davis) whose lobbying firm was involved with DHL in the past…No, her anger was directed at Obama and for what? For bringing it up in an ad talking about the problems in Ohio.

I’m at a loss people, I really am. Clearly, this woman has no idea who her friends are, but that aside, I simply LOVE how no matter how culpable the McCain people are in a disaster, they STILL have the big brass balls to stand up and get mad at someone else for “politicizing” the issue.

I’m not sure how the state of our economy ISN’T or SHOULDN’T be a political issue…Nor can I fathom how anyone who is going through this crisis wouldn’t want it shouted to the raffers for all to hear. But there is Mary Houghtaling to cry us a river about how Obama is a bad guy for bringing some light to bear on this issue. I guess she’s use to GOP politics of cover-ups and accountability denials.

I’m not looking at this through rose-colored glasses, we ALL KNOW that this is an issue that has gravy on it for Obama in a state that would crush GOP hopes of a 3rd GOP Presidential term…OF COURSE, Obama is going to talk about it. But, what really gets me is how no one is talking about this in the Mainstream Media, I mean I’m over all the “liberal media bias” BS from GOP supporters, McCain has skated throughout this election process despite his seemingly constant “senior moments”.

For once and all, if you vote for this man, McCain, then you’ll likely end up in a similar situation as Ms. Mary Houghtaling…clearly, she is on McCain’s side and God Bless her, because this is America and even if you want to be a moron, you can. Even if you want to support someone who couldn’t care less about you, you can. Just don’t expect the rest of us to care more for you than those who you put your faith in, because frankly, we have our own troubles and besides, isn’t THAT the republican way? Go for yourself, take all you can, and do whatever has to be done to keep it!

How about the fact that the economy is in the dumper
