Turkey threatens to attack Kurds in Northern Iraq

Turkey threatens to attack Kurds in Northern Iraq unless America acts decisively against Iraqi Kurd militants operating against Turkey

Turkey is fed up with separatist Turkish group the Kurdistan Workers'' Party (PKK) operating in the Northern Iraq and trying to build an independent Kurdistan snatching land from Turkey, Iraq and Iran. The PKK in the past have worked closely with the U.S.-led or coalition forces against Saddam/s Baathists in Northern Iraq. In recent days PKK is busy consolidating its strength near the Turkey border threatening Kurd rebellion in Turkey.

The Iraqi geopolitical scene can become very complex if Turkey really attacks the Kurds. Kurds plan to hide fast behind the lines of the US led coalition forces.
