The Myth about the GOP wanting to win in Iraq

Iowa GOP Puts Romney Over War

Omaha, Ne.- A new poll indicates that Iowa Republicans are more interested in winning the White House than the War in Iraq.

A Los Angeles Times-Bloomberg poll finds Mitt Romney (with 28 per cent) still leading in Iowa, despite the fact that Romney is third when it comes to "best handle the Iraq war" and fourth in the can "best fight terrorism" category.

Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson are tied for second in the horserace; both are at 16 per cent.

Despite launching a new "no surrender" campaign John McCain is still at 7 per cent.
