ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, June 30 (UPI) -- Gen. Pervez Musharraf has been warned by his own ministers that his lax attitude toward Taliban and Afghan militants could lead to chaos in Pakistan. "There is a general policy of appeasement towards the Taliban, which has further emboldened them," said a report from Pakistan's interior ministry to President Musharraf, the New York Times reported Saturday.
The document warns Taliban fighters are rapidly spreading into Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, where outnumbered security forces have all but surrendered to the militants.........
