Savage: U.S. Senate "more vicious and more histrionic than ever, specifically because women have been injected into" it
On the September 12 edition of The Savage Nation, nationally syndicated radio host Michael Savage claimed that "we" were "told" that "before Barbara Boxer [D-CA]... before Dianne Feinstein [D-CA] ... [and] before Hillary [Rodham] Clinton [D-NY] became ... U.S. senator[s], that when women became senators, we'd have a kinder, gentler Senate." Instead, Savage said, the Senate has become "more vicious and more histrionic than ever, specifically because women have been injected into" it. Savage made his comments in response to the recent announcement that Gloria Steinem had teamed up with Jane Fonda to start a talk radio network "for women, by women." Read more
