A U.S. government audit found American-led occupation authorities squandered tens of millions of dollars that were supposed to be used to rebuild Iraq through undocumented spending and outright fraud.
Reports have included money gambled away in the Philippines, an elevator so poorly repaired that it crashed killing people, suitcases full of money left lying around, and so on.
More stupidity from our clueless administration.
