Culture of Corruption: Texas prosecutors probe possible Cunningham-Delay cash link

SAN DIEGO The Texas D-A prosecuting Congressman Tom DeLay has issued a second round of subpoenas to a San Diego County businessmen.

Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle is seeking records surrounding donations to DeLay and former Representative Randy "Duke" Cunningham.

The subpoenas focus on 2002 transactions involving PerfectWave Technologies, a Poway company controlled by businessman Brent Wilkes.

According to the subpoenas, businessman William B. Adams wrote a 40-thousand dollar check to PerfectWave in September 2002. Two days later, PerfectWave sent 15-thousand dollars to a DeLay-founded political committee.
