Safety Celebration causes Mine Explosion

BEIJING- Fireworks celebration accidentally causes mine explosion in the town of Kecheng. The residents of the mining town in Shanxi province, were celebrating their one year mark of not having a mine accident.

Reports from the Xinhua News Agency state that during the celebration a defective MoaLin Sun-Bomb landed inside a building that contained explosives used by the Shanxi Commercial Mining Company.

Mine officials could not be found after the accident and no injuries reported. Chinese Government Officials have removed the Rosewood ornamented plaque marking the one-year anniversary of zero accidents at the mine.
