Senator Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriots Fund wants your help identifying a Congressional challenger to support in the upcoming 2006 elections. The candidate chosen by the grassroots as a Progressive Patriot will receive a $5000 contribution from the Progressive Patriots Fund. These candidates were selected by you through the candidate suggestion form, and we hope to do more of these events in the future. Did anyone else see the Roll Call story about Tim Walz and Colleen Rowley yesterday? Walz appears to be a sleeper candidate who could really use a bump from something like the Feingold money. A google search for Walz turns up a couple of articles including a recent endorsement by Max Cleland.
