As companies cut ties with the American Legislative Exchange Council
(ALEC) following a campaign led by ColorOfChange, Fox News has defended
the conservative legislation organization, accusing ColorOfChange of
using "fascist tactics" and inviting ALEC supporters and officials on to
defend their actions.
ALEC, an organization that drafts model bills for
conservative state lawmakers, has pushed for controversial "Stand Your
