Senate run, U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris is having to answer questions about a California defense contractor who prosecutors say illegally funneled thousands of dollars to her campaign in 2004.
Harris became a hero to Republicans when she oversaw the disputed 2000 ballot count that gave George W. Bush a crucial 537-vote victory in Florida. She was elected to Congress in 2002 and re-elected in 2004.
