Nurse's Tear Schwarzenegger a New One

Columbus, Ohio (AP) --
The honeymoon may be ending for Arnold Schwarzenegger the governor of California, but for Arnold Schwarzenegger the bodybuilding champion, it's going strong.

Schwarzenegger was mobbed by eager athletes and fans Saturday as he toured the annual fitness weekend and bodybuilding contest that bears his name.
His annual trip to the Arnold Classic, which he helped found in 1989, was for Schwarzenegger a return to his comfort zone and to his roots, surrounded by burly men cheering instead of Democratic lawmakers jeering.

But home-state political troubles were not far off. The California Nurses Association, with whom he's been fighting over nurse staffing ratios, criticized him in a full-page ad in Saturday's Columbus Dispatch and planned to protest at the men's finals that night.

The ad attacked Schwarzenegger's supercharged fund-raising, calling it "cash register politics on steroids."
